The two most important questions you should ask anyone quoting your pool are -
1 - What are your qualifications and how much experience do you have?
In Victoria - You need to be a registered domestic builder limited to swimming pools (DB-L)
Or a domestic builder unlimited (DB-U)
In NSW - You need a contractors license with the class of swimming pool builder
Or a contractors license with the a higher class
2 - What are your builders license numbers?

How do I choose the right size and shape for my backyard?

Can I change the design of a fibreglass pool?
Fibreglass pools are made from a mould, so you’ll need to select from a range of moulds. There can be slight modifications (i.e. wet deck, infinity edge) but not a complete change of shape. At Conquest Pools, we have over 40 moulds. We have pools from 4 metres to over 14 metres in all shapes and sizes, in all orientations. There is something to fit most backyards.
Can I change the depth of a fibreglass pool?
Depth is determined by the design and size of the pool that you choose. Because fibreglass pools come off a mould with a predetermined depth, and that depth is determined off a laser gradient which is designed so that you can stand comfortably at any position in the pool.
What are the maintenance requirements for a swimming pool?
Maintenance requirements can include regularly testing the water, cleaning the pool and filters, and balancing chemicals to keep the water clean and safe for swimming. This may average out out over the year to 15minutes a week.
Can I choose the colour for the pool, and what are my options?
Yes there are many colour options available and three finishes in each colour ‘culture’, ‘sequence’ and ‘Crystal Granite’ each finish has a different price range.
Will a swimming pool add value to my property?

Getting a pool yard completed can take several months so the best time to start the process is now, in order to have the pool installed as soon as the contractor can fit you into the schedule so you can begin to landscape around the pool.

What kind of water treatment system do I need for my swimming pool, and how does it work?
Some treatment options include chlorine, saltwater, ozone, ioniser and UV systems. These systems work by using different methods to kill or remove bacteria and other contaminants from the water. We use salt water chlorination which means the sanitiser system uses salt in the water to make chlorine to keep your pool clean and healthy even in the hottest of summers.
How can I save money on operating and maintaining my swimming pool?
Some ways to save money on pool maintenance include keeping the pool clean, minimising water evaporation by using a pool cover, investing in an energy-efficient pool pump and heater can help lower energy costs, installing a cartridge filter will also reduce water consumption and chemical usage.
What should I do to prepare my backyard for the installation of a swimming pool?
